Nigeria @ 49: Gowon Estate in shades of Green and White.

LoveWorld News Agency; Sunday, October 4th, 2009. The Reach out Nigeria Independence Day carnival in Gowon estate, Dopemu axis of Lagos state was beyond successful. There was a contagious excitement in the atmosphere. The colours of the Nigerian flag were proudly displayed in every possible manner. You’d witness bizarre but gallant hair dos in all shades of green, beautiful smiley faces proudly showing off the nation's flag on either their cheeks or forehead.
Green and white balloons with similar colored ribbons, drifted lazily in the wind behind a large truck carrying loud speakers with inspirational songs emitting from them. You’d also hear the rich and vibrant sound of joy amidst laughter, chants and giggles, but above all, the cheerful gestures and obvious unity of purpose, exuded genuine love. It was amazing.
The people were eager to receive the Rhapsody of Realities and their joy knew no bounds when they realized that it was absolutely free.
One can only imagine the transformation their lives would undergo when they read the life impacting devotional.
However, it was certain that they were grateful for the gift as they prayed heartily for Pastor Chris and Rev Anita Oyakhilome. Words like "God bless Pastor Chris” “Christ Embassy una dey try o", was heard from virtually everyone who received this gift. We, the family of CEC Gowon Estate are equally grateful for such an opportunity like this to influence lives. We are indeed shaking up the place.
