Port Harcourt Higher Life Conference: Proclaiming Heavenly Verities

Right from the moment one set foot in the Liberation stadium, Port Harcourt, south-south Nigeria, on the 2nd of January 2009, you could not help but feel the electrifying presence of the spirit of the most high. it blanketed the arena even to its ends and little wonder then when the man of God, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome pronounced that the spirit of the Lord is omnipresent at the stadium and every soul present, irrelevant of where they might be, will be a partaker of the divine touch of the spirit.

Right from the music session with the stars of the Believers LoveWorld Nation, which transported the congregation from this world into a place of worship with the spirit, the 1st day of the Port-Harcourt Higher Conference with the renowned revivalist, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was set to be mind blowing.

The packed stadium, full to its brim, reverberated as the multitude sang every song along with the music ministers and proclaimed every prophecy in the songs with a deep enthusiasm that showed that they were ready to receive from God through His prophet, Pastor Chris. Their expectation was such, that when the man of God, Rev. Tom Amenkhienan stepped up to the podium to exhort them, they simply ignited like fireworks. He admonished all to be battle ready to grab ‘that word’ from God that will elevate, catapult and transport them to the next level. The present level of anyone did not matter he added, because the Holy Spirit is ready to position us for a greater level of glory this year and the Higher Life Conference is the platform for the take-off. He urged them to be prepared for the word as it will give them exactly what they need; deliverance, healing, promotion, a higher level and all they can conceive in their minds; all they need do is Lambano.

Just when it seemed the assembly could wait no longer, with expectation bursting at the seams, God’s mouthpiece, the prophet of our generation and our man of God, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome mounted the dais and the crowd went berserk with excitement with thunderous shoutings of joy. Pronouncing peace and progress on the state and its people, Pastor thanked the governor heartily for the warm reception accorded by the state and prophesied that the state will never be the same after the Higher Life Conference program.

Reading from the book of John 20:30 and John 21:25, Pastor asked what sort of man Jesus was, who spent just three and a half years in His ministry but whose works could fill all the books in the world if written down. He called the life of Jesus a continuous demonstration of the power of God. The man of God said many do not know that this life exists and that is the life we have been called to. A life of excellence, absolute success and victory and not a life of failure, defeat or disease.

Pastor pronounced that the conference will bring everyone into the realization of the life Christ has prepared for them and at the end of the conference; people will ask every participant what happened to them because of the divine transformation they will experience. He described them as potentials; with excellent and priceless things embedded in them and that just as you mine gold, so will the Holy Spirit perfect His work in their lives and they will begin to manifest success, excellence, wisdom and peace.

The man of God urged everyone to be punctual for day Two of the conference to witness the mighty move of the Spirit and rounded up by praying for all and blessed their families.
