NIGHT OF BLISS SOUTH AFRICA: A Visitation of the King.

The atmosphere was combustive, filled with a palpable expectation. You could almost touch the anticipation as the people surged into the main bowl of the Johannesburg stadium and overflow for the Night of Bliss with Pastor Chris.
As early as 7.00am they had begun to arrive from all over the world, it was obvious South Africans were set for a visitation. It had been noised abroad, God was in town, divinity had taken over in South Africa and her people would never be the same again.
After a medley of praise and worship that wet their expectant appetite and ultimately prepared them for what was to become a victorious fait accompli, Rev. Ray Okocha, set the atmosphere on a spiritual high tension, when he began to pray for the night . The thousands strong crowd needed no encouragement, their voices rose in unison and ardent prayer to the God they had come to seek.
This was followed by soul stirring and inspiring praise, worship and ministrations. The atmosphere became fully charged with the electrifying presence of God as song after song was belted out by the music ministers. Brother Martin of South Africa, Buchi, Sinach and Eben from Nigeria were all on the billing.
Testimonies to inspire the crowd to faith was taken next with Bongi whose left leg was shorter than the right telling her story. She attended a meeting held by the man of God, Pastor Chris where healing was pronounced upon her and behold, her legs became the same length. Gloria and Tengani were no different. They were healed of HIV, cancer and tuberculosis of the spinal colon respectively.
The moment all had been waiting for came at 10.49 pm, when Pastor Chris stepped on to the podium to the admiration and cheers of the crowd who had been inspired to believe the unmitigated word of God. Pastor Chris began by greeting the South African President, Thabo Mbeki, The ANC stalwart, Jacob Xuma and the Mayors of Guateng and Johannesburg. In his words, “my mission is to add to that which is lacking” and that is exactly what he did with the preaching of the uncommon word to South Africans.
Pastor Chris proceeded to answer the question, who is Jesus? His answer was simple,; first, He is the son of God who according to Romans 1:4 was declared to be so with power by the resurrection from the dead. Secondly, He is the Saviour of the world; John 3:16 being a sovereign declaration of God that whosoever believes in Him, should not perish. Finally, He is lord of heaven and earth who declared in Mathew 8:18 that all power in heaven and earth had been given to him. No one else has this kind of authority and we should be bolder, Pastor Chris said at declaring His name.
As the crowd soaked in the word, Pastor Chris went further to say that Jesus came to do a great work in our lives which included the great task of taking our sins away by taking our place of condemnation to give us His place of justification. He also came to give us eternal life- the very life of God and to make us sons of God.
The crowd had not finished cheering for the greatness of the revelation when Pastor Chris added more by explaining how relevant Jesus is today. The Johannesburg stadium he said was full to the brim not because of anyone or thing but because of Jesus and in Him, no sickness, disease or ill health can come to the believer. Speaking from Mark 16:17 which declared that in the name of Jesus, the believer would cast out devils, lay hands on the sick for recovery and drink any deadly thing without being hurt, he said, Jesus is the answer to the world’s fears; no situation he added is hopeless once Jesus shows up.
For South Africa and its people, the moment of divine appointment came when the man of God asked them to lay hands on each other and began to pronounce healing on all and the supernatural took over.
For Lucia Nissi, suffering from muscle deficiency resulting in weakness of limbs and confined to a wheelchair, the chicken came home to roost as her case was specifically mentioned by Pastor Chris. He commanded healing upon her and instantaneously, she got out of her wheelchair and began to walk.
Another Lady from Ghana with a motor neuron disorder which she had carried for 57 years also got a personal visitation from the man of God. As soon as he prayed for her healing, she got out of her wheelchair and an avalanche of miracles followed.
A blind 13 year old boy got healed, a lady with a tumor in the ear had it disappear while a little boy with crutches got healed and began to walk without them.
